My love for photography began when my son Steven was born in 1999. Back then, I was happy with an automatic point and shoot, I knew I wanted to capture every essence of him. From there my love for photography grew and when my daughter was born I took the leap to a Digital SLR. Every moment of my days were consumed with photographing my children. Their every day life, moments I would want to keep forever. My photos became my passion as I added them to my scrapbooks. Through time, friends started asking me for copies of the photos I took of their kids and my passion grew deeper. I decided to take the plunge and begin offering my photography to others in September of 2006.

Since then I’ve had the privilege of photographing, weddings, children, families, newborns, High School Seniors and more. I’ve also had the chance to photograph and meet Dr. Maya Angelou at her Charter School in Washington DC and most recently photographing the Washington Ballets’ Nutcracker Tea at the Willard Hotel. Amazing experiences that I cherish every day.

I was born and raised in San Juan Puerto Rico and still consider it home. My culture plays an integral part of my life and now having the opportunity to offer photography to clients in both English and Spanish is an added benefit. I live in Northern Virginia with my husband of almost 14 years and our two children, Steven and Zoe.
